During Summer 2022, I was the Software Engineer Intern in the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) department at Victaulic, a piping solutions company. My intern project was to build and deploy a machine learning algorithm to forecast the VDC's workload for an incoming project. During this project, I employed my Python for Data Science skills and ML/AI knowledge. In addition, I acquired new skills such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Flask to deploy the ML model's UI. Overall, this project was fun and exciting to work on as I had the opportunity to learn from the department's software engineers about software development as well as ML.
