In summer 2023, I moved to Buchs, St. Gallen, Switzerland for my role as a visiting undergraduate researcher at OST, Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences. At OST, I worked in the Institute for Energy Systems (IES) department on the Electrical Energy Systems team. Over the summer, I worked on a wireless power transfer demonstrator for electric vehicle charging. My work consisted of employed my embedded software skills to establish wireless communication between the primary and secondary microcontrollers. Overall, my time at OST was very valuable as I learned important technical embedded systems skills as well as intercultural skills.
